Ben Lane is Senior Manager, Enterprise and Innovation, part of a team at Arts Council England set up to, amongst other things, support the development of entrepreneurialism and innovation in arts and culture sectors, develop new investment vehicles and approaches to grant funding, and encourage the take-up and effective use of digital technology.
Ben’s background is in music and he has undertaken various roles during his 10 years at Arts Council England, including National Music Lead. A classically trained musician, but with an interest in music across many genres, Ben previously worked at the UK’s PRS for Music Foundation and is passionate about finding ways to fund the parts that don’t normally receive funding.
