Sandis Voldiņš currently is a member of the Board of the Latvian National Opera and Ballet, S.Voldins has accumulated long-term work experience in the public administration at the Ministry of Culture and the State Chancellery, including extensive experience in the field of culture – both as the former State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture as well as in various institutions of the cultural sector. Planned and managed large-scale successful cultural, change management, investment, and development projects.
Acquired an education that combines law (mg. Iur) and culture (mg. Art) as well as supplemented knowledge in the University of Latvia’s master’s study program in Culture and Social Anthropology. Currently pursuing Ph.D. in arts on the use of large data in the field of cultural events.
