Below are some frequently asked questions about ticket sales

  • Due to national restrictions, the 2022 festival season is currently planned to take place in "green mode", which means that all concert-goers shall present a valid COVID-19 digital certificate that confirms the fact of vaccination or recovery and a passport or ID upon arrival to the venue. The same rules apply to children.

    Attending concerts with a negative test in the "green mode" is not possible. In case of any changes, the Festival organisers will inform all ticket buyers by updating the information on the website and sharing the news on social media.

  • Yes, tickets are only available at, in the “Tickets” section.


  • Yes, if the concert you want to attend is sold out, you can join the Waiting List to be the first to receive a message from us if tickets become available again!

    We will inform the first persons on the waiting list, who will have 24 hours to buy a ticket until we assign it to the next person on the list.

    To join the list open the sold-out concert on the Festival’s ticket shop and find the “Waiting list” button on the lower right corner!

    The creation of the ticket sale platform on the Festival website was done in collaboration with international ticket sales platform

  • Tickets for the new season of the Festival will be available to purchase online on the official Festival website, in the “Tickets” section.

  • To ensure maximum availability to a varied audience, tickets to evening concerts at the Latvian National Opera and the Great Hall of the Dzintari Concert Hall will cost between 15 and 235 EUR, while daytime concerts at the Small Guild (Riga) will cost between 10 and 35 EUR.

  • Students, seniors*, and all representatives of music institutions** will receive a 15% discount on ticket prices for all Festival concerts.

    * The student and senior discount applies ONLY with a valid student / pensioner ID which you will also have to show at the entrance to the concert.

    ** All classical music institutions have access to a unique discount code that activates a discount when purchasing tickets. The code is available by emailing [email protected] or by calling 27770010

  • On the Festival website, when selecting a specific concert, you will be offered the chance to buy a ticket online at To make a purchase, you will be asked to enter your contact details and indicate your preferred ticket category, seats and amount. If you qualify for a discount, you will be asked to enter your discount type (senior or student ticket) or your special discount code.

    After you have made your purchase, your ticket will be sent to your email as a PDF and smartphone e-ticket.

  • At the moment of purchase, a unique code is generated for each ticket, with additional security features for printed tickets. On the day of the concert, Festival organisers invite the audience to use the e-ticket on your smartphone (passbook), or a printed ticket.

  • You will receive your e-ticket as a PDF (Portable Document Format) document. When printing, it makes no difference whether you use a colour or black and white printer, but please remember that the text and OR code on your e-ticket must be clearly readable and visible. A partially-printed e-ticket is viewed as invalid.

  • Individuals purchasing fewer than 10 tickets cannot reserve a ticket. Meanwhile, those purchasing more than 10 can reserve their tickets for up to 7 working days in writing through [email protected]

  • Tickets cannot be returned, unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled, in accordance with Latvian law. SIA “RJMF EVENTS” only refunds the face value of the tickets, and does not pay any compensation for losses incurred due to the cancellation or rescheduling of events.

  • Refunds or exchanges are not permitted following a change of program, only in the case of cancellation or rescheduling. Riga Jurmala Music Festival Program 2021 is subject to change, including due to the changing circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic.

  • There are no active cancellations at the moment.

    Full refunds are available:

    • if the concert/orchestra participation is cancelled.
    • if you are not able to attend the concert due to covid-19 restrictions.
