Hilary Knight is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience delivering growth and performance for creative and cultural organisations. She combines a wealth of experience in strategy and leadership with deep experience in digital and new technologies, audience-centric approaches, and agile methodologies, enabling organisations to remain competitive and significant in their space.
Currently Director of Digital at Tate, she defines and leads the organisation’s strategy to advance Tate’s mission through digital means and at scale. She holds responsibility for Tate’s digital presence online and in the galleries, including immersive projects such as the BIMA award winning Modigliani VR experience.
Previously at Film4, Channel 4 and the BBC, she has delivered multiplatform projects for high profile public media and cultural organisations. These include large-scale cross-platform work for flagship drama series, a twice BAFTA nominated immersive experience, and innovative interactive projects for live youth music radio.
