“This summer, a symphony orchestra music festival will take place for the first time in Latvia, giving audiences the chance to hear four of the world’s leading orchestras and conductors, as well as world-famous, sought-after soloists. The festival will also offer additional experiences, including meeting with the artists and various other surprises,” explains Zane Čulkstena, Executive Director of the Festival. “This is an ambitious event, and to prepare for it we need powerful teamwork, enthusiasm and burning passion, along with the desire to implement ambitious and creative ideas. We welcome those with the ability to unite volunteer activities with their studies or work.”
Festival volunteers are invited to support the Festival and its employees in their daily work – from communications and event planning to various other organisational tasks. By taking part in the creation of the festival, volunteers can see the festival from the “other side”, gain experience, work with industry professionals, meet artists and attend events.
We invite people aged from 16 years old to apply (those aged between 16 and 18 will need parental permission). Those who are interested are invited to apply by April 20th through the Festival website, filling in an application form. Applications will be reviewed and confirmed by contacting candidates, inviting them to an in-person meeting by the end of April.
