This weekend from August 30 to September 1 festival guests will have the chance to enjoy the last concerts of the first Riga Jurmala Music Festival:
- Friday, August 30 at 20:00 London Symphony Orchestra, conductor Gianandrea Noseda & Seong-Jin Cho, a pianist from South Korea (Venue: Dzintari concert hall).
- Saturday, August 31 at 14:00 Chinese soprano Ying Fang & pianist Ken Noda, but in the evening concert at 19:00 London Symphony Orchestra & violinist Vadim Repin (Venue: Dzintari concert hall).
- Sunday, September 1 at 14:00 cellist Edgar Moreau will perform in day concert (Venue: the Great Guild, Riga), but in the evening at 17:00 the festival will be closed by the performance of pianist Lucas Debargue (Venue: Dzintari Small Concert hall).
Ticket purchasing
Tickets may be purchased at all Biļešu Paradīze kiosks and online at www.bilesuparadize.lv right up until the beginning of the concert.
Weekend pass holders
Pass holders for the fourth weekend and special guests are invited to join us for a glass of champagne in the special guest zone of Dzintari concert hall (the zone right next to the stage of the Great hall) or in the Northern Gallery (for day concerts taking place in the Small hall) during intermissions on August 30 and 31.
IMPORTANT! Pass holders and special guests will receive wristbands. Festival organisers will individually contact pass holders and special guests or else the wristbands will be available before the concerts at the information booth at the entrance of Dzintari Concert Hall.
Information Centre
The Festival Information Centre is opened one hour before the day and evening concerts next to the Dzintari concert hall. On September 1 the info centre will be open one hour before the day concert in the Great guild.
Dresscode
Let’s make this festival special together!
We invite festival guests attending evening performances (starting at 19:00) to choose more formal, festive attire. At the same time, please keep in mind that the weather in Latvia tends to change frequently. Take a piece of warm clothing to keep yourself comfortable during the night. Daytime concerts (starting at 14:00) are less formal and smart casual attire is acceptable
Concert start times
Please arrive for the concerts on time. The performance will start at the time indicated on the ticket.
Parking
There are various parking lots around Dzintari Concert hall that can be used, as well as the paid parking lot of Dzintari concert hall at Dzintaru prospekts 1. Street parking is also available in designated areas.
Taxis
The ridesharing company BOLT is giving festival guests a 10% discount on their first ride with a special code. To activate the discount, open the BOLT app, go to “Promotions” and enter in the code “RJMF”.
