To symbolically launch the international Riga Jurmala classical music festival, the first Riga Jurmala Musical Soirées were held on July 2nd and 3rd in the square opposite the Latvian National Opera.
The Riga Jurmala Musical Soirées is a unique event concept that allows listeners to get to know classical music from a different perspective. Over the course of the evening, the event location will transform into a vibrant, resonant picnic offering two meditative hours accompanied by classical music.
In cooperation with the Latvian Radio 3 “Klasika”, visitors and radio listeners all across Latvia could enjoy concert programs by Schuman, Brahms and Mozart.
The warmest thank you to all of our partners, especially to Food Union and Ekselence Ice Cream, sea-food restaurant Barents and Balticovo, who helped us turn the Musical Soirées into a wonderful picnic!
