Consistent with the Riga Jurmala Music Festival’s policy of prioritizing the health and safety of the audience, the artists and the staff, the Festival has decided that for the concerts from 6 August till 5 September admission will be exclusively to ticketholders who can provide proof of full vaccination at least 14 days prior or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 within the last 180 days. Negative COVID-19 tests won’t be accepted. These rules also apply to children.

Refunds:

We guarantee that if any of the Festival’s 2021 season concerts are canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all ticket holders will get a full refund.

We also guarantee to refund tickets that have been canceled by ticket holders up to 24 hours before the concert in the following cases:

  • the closing of borders of the ticket holder’s country of residence, preventing them from arriving in Riga or Jurmala to attend the performance;
  • if you have other COVID-19 related issues and would like to request a refund, we will make a case-by-case examination, which will most likely require some form of evidence.

Frequently asked questions

  • If the Festival is canceled, you will have the option of getting a full refund or a credit for the Festival’s next season.

  • You have up to 24 hours before the performance to request a refund. We will examine refund claims carefully and we will make a determination on a case-by-case basis.

  • If you face any travel restrictions due to COVID-19 regulations that prevent you from attending the Festival, we guarantee a refund. We ask you to inform us as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours before the concert if possible.

  • Yes. We will review requests on a case-by-case basis and may request documentation.

  • We will update our policies and communicate them as soon as possible in response to changes in travel and other restrictions.

  • Yes, in most circumstances you may transfer tickets. Please make your request for transfers by writing to [email protected] up to 24 hours before the concert. The name on each ticket must correspond with the name of the person presenting it to the venue attendant.
